Overview
A learning platform for people preparing for government professional licensing exams. It offers practice tests, oral-interview question banks and group study, fully right-to-left.
Paid exam content is the product, so protecting it shaped the whole design. The platform has gone through several generations: each rebuild solved a concrete problem, from offline reliability to content theft to faster updates.
Content teams write questions in a native desktop app made for the job. Admins manage learners, groups, programs and broadcasts from a web dashboard. Learners study on their phones, fully offline once content has synced.

The features that took real engineering

Encrypted content packs, per device
Paid content can't be copied off one phone and opened on another. Each device holds its own key in the secure keychain, content keys are unlocked for that device only, and every pack is encrypted, compressed and verified before use.

Anti-cheat for timed exams
Screenshots and screen recording are blocked, rolling the device clock back gets detected, and accounts showing abuse can be blocked remotely.

Content is a release, not a query
Question banks ship as versioned releases. The app downloads only what changed since the last sync, so it stays fast and works anywhere.

A native authoring tool
A macOS app lets content teams build question banks, including media, verbal-comprehension and data-interpretation questions, with local backups.

One content model, many exams
Programs contain sections, which contain collections of questions, so a new certification track needs no new architecture.
